Mr. Pepin has over 30 years of management experience across various sectors of the technology industry. After a successful career in engineering, sales, marketing and general management at IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation, he joined The Phoenix Companies, Inc in 1994. While at Phoenix, Mr. Pepin was Founder and President of Phoenix Charter Oak Trust Company, and later Executive Vice President of Phoenix Investment Partners and a member of the board. Most recently, he was responsible for international development for Phoenix including the start up of an investment advisory company in Tokyo. Mr. Pepin is Chairman of Next Generation Ventures, LLC, a joint venture between The Phoenix Companies, Inc. and Connecticut Innovations, Inc., that offers seed-stage venture capital and professional management support to high-tech, start-up companies in Connecticut. Mr. Pepin has a BS and MBA from the University of Connecticut and has also attended the Institute European d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France.
