Timothy Sweeney is an Industry Advisor with Silverwood Partners focused on the financial services technology sector. Mr. Sweeney is a Principal at FinTech Partners LLC, a sector-focused consultancy specializing in corporate development and strategic transactions in global financial technology and information markets. Previously, Mr. Sweeney was in senior strategy and corporate development roles with Dow Jones and its Factiva joint venture with Reuters, where he managed global M&A transactions, strategic investments and early stage formation of new lines of business. Mr. Sweeney's prior experience includes successful sales and operating roles with Dow Jones, Thomson Reuters and EDS EFT Services.

Mr. Sweeney is an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia and the Association for Corporate Growth. Mr. Sweeney has an MBA from Rutgers Business School and a BA from Ohio State University.
