Kathy Weidman is an Industry Advisor with Silverwood Partners focused on the media, entertainment and high-tech industries. Ms. Weidman is a founder and principal at Moonbeam Group, a consulting firm that advises companies through financial, operational, organizational and strategic transitions. Ms. Weidman has served as the interim CEO, COO or CFO of eight companies in the media storage management, post production, Internet commerce software and technology sectors. Her prior experience includes progressively senior roles in a number of leading technology companies, including Vice President of Worldwide Operations for Avid Technology, Inc.

Ms. Weidman is actively involved in a number of technology industry organizations and initiatives. Ms. Weidman holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA with a double major in Economics and Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University.
